4-H Risk Management New! 4-H Chaperone Guidelines. For the the safety and well being of youth and adults participating in 4-H events, follow these minimum standards. ATV Clubs and Safety Program Resources. Please follow strict guidelines when forming ATV clubs and safety programs. CCE may not offer ATV certification courses. Contact Kim Fleming or John Bowe for more information. NYS 4-H Safe Tractor and Machinery Operation Program. Cornell Cooperative Extension 4-H Youth Development offers Tractor Safety Certification courses in some areas of the state to certify 14 and 15 year olds who plan to operate a tractor while working in an agricultural setting off the family farm. Find resources on the Tractor Safety webpage. The new 2008 NYS Safe Tractor and Machinery Operation Program Certification Guidelines set minimum requirements for certification courses while offering resource information and human resources to assist program coordinators and instructors. |
