About Give Change, Make Change for Youth

Give Change, Make Change for Youth is a fund-drive campaign of the New York State 4-H Foundation.   Cornell Cooperative Extension associations across New York State will be collecting change and promoting the work of 4-H Youth Development during the months of June – October.  Half of the proceeds raised within the county will stay with the 4-H Program of the county; the other half will support the NYS 4-H Foundation.

For over 100 years 4-H has been serving families by supplementing the formal education children receive with “hands-on” life-skills lessons.   Today, the 4-H program is one of the largest youth development programs in the United States, with more than 6.5 million young people, ages 5-19, and 540,000 youth and adult volunteers.

The varied opportunities offered through 4-H give youth the chance to focus on a passion and, in some cases, turn that passion into a career. Our success stories tell it all.

New York State’s 4-H program also connects youth to the resources of Cornell University, helping young people get excited about school, learning and career options.  For more information or to make a contribution to 4-H, please go to http://nys4h.cce.cornell.edu/givechange or contact the NYS 4-H Foundation at: (315) 350-1531 .
