Program Development

Our programs reach youth, volunteers and communities through many avenues.   Programs such as animal science, community service, camps, conferences, or public presentations help youth to develop skills that will be helpful to them now and in the future.  Strategically planning programs can save you time, provide you with more successful outcomes and mechanisms for communicating outcomes. 

A variety of training and resources are available about program design, delivery and evaluation. 

Professional development in these areas will help any 4-H staff member to succeed in their work.

Outreach.  As you seek strategies for outreach in our own communities, check out what is happening at Cornell.  With an renewed commitment to outreach, many Cornell Departments have outreach coordinators and are seeking (and providing) funding to reach out across New York state.
